last 6 months building this magnificent B17 Flying Fortress.
At time of publication, this plane had 27 flights and a total of 3 1/2 hours in the air. Don lives locally to the RCV headquarters, so we had the pleasure of seeing this fly for ourselves. Click here for the video footage |

The photo left shows the modified carburettor which Don made. These were needed as the retractable undercarriage took up the space of the original carb. |
