The Avro Lancaster is the best known and most successful British heavy bomber used by the RAF during the Second World War.

One of the most famous Lancaster operations was the 'Dam Busters' raid in May 1943 which utilised the 'bouncing bomb'

John is relatively new to model building and this awesome Lancaster was only his 2nd scratch build plane.  A very impressive achievement.

John comments 'he believes the RCV58CD is the only engine completely reliable enough to do a multi-engine plane without complex on board glow systems etc.'
