4 -Stroke Model Aero Engine

The RCV - rotary cylinder valve four stroke engine represents a major advance in model engine design.
Although its moving components  (piston, crank, cylinder and rotary valve) are totally conventional,
they are arranged in a radically novel configuration to provide the aero modeller with several key benefits,
whilst having similar handling characteristics to other 4-stroke model engines:-

RCV91-CD - 0.91 cu in / 15 cc

CD Series Features

bullet Ultra Compact Design - the same height as a 4-stroke 52
bullet Low Noise - Unique Real Engine Sound
bullet Uses Conventional Propellers Sizes
bullet Can be mounted inverted
bullet Low Maintenance
bullet Easy to Tune
bullet 2-Year Guarantee
bullet Suitable for modellers of all skill levels

The RCV91-CD has been designed to meet the demand from aero modellers who want a quality engine, that is easy to use and is competitively priced.  Comparable in power to conventional 91 4-stroke engines (or .60 2-stroke engines), this is the ideal choice for scale, aerobatic, fun and general flying.  Check out our for examples of what the 91CD is capable of flying.

The engine still uses RCV's unique rotary valve system - which has only one extra moving component to a 2-stroke and so is easy to maintain.  This ultra-compact engine is the same height as a conventional .52 4-stroke engines (or .60 2-strokes) which makes cowling much easier than other 4-strokes
So if you are looking for a reliable, easy to use 4-stroke engine, that is the same height as a 2-stroke engine, our die cast RCV91-CD engine is a perfect option.
